The fine print

Who we are

Floyka is an independent design studio operating from Istanbul, Türkiye. Agreements are made directly with the studio's principals as individuals until incorporation.

These terms are informational

This page describes how we usually work. It is not a contract. Every engagement is governed by a written, project-specific agreement (a proposal or statement of work confirmed in writing, including by email) which takes precedence over anything on this website. No work begins before that confirmation and, where agreed, a deposit.

Scope and revisions

Scope, deliverables, timeline and fees are fixed in the written proposal. Two revision rounds per deliverable are included unless the proposal says otherwise; further rounds and scope additions are quoted separately before we do them.

Payment

Unless the proposal states otherwise: a deposit is due before work starts, the balance is due on delivery, and final files are released after full payment. Work may be paused on overdue invoices after written notice.

Intellectual property

On full payment, the client owns the final delivered assets for the uses defined in the proposal. Pre-existing tools, libraries, fonts licensed to the studio, and unused concepts remain the studio's property. Third-party assets (fonts, stock, plugins) are licensed under their own terms, which the client must maintain.

Portfolio and publicity

We only publish client work in our portfolio and on social channels after the client's written approval (email is sufficient), or as agreed in the proposal. Confidential work stays confidential; NDAs are respected without exception.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the studio's total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees actually paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how delivered designs are used, modified or published after handover. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or investment advice.

Third-party platforms

Sites we build on platforms such as Framer depend on those platforms' own terms, pricing and availability, which we do not control.
